Comment:
A Boolean choice for "User-selected" seems insufficient.
If the code is user-selected, might we need to distinguish between selecting the system display or the local display? Might it be selected as part of a larger, post-coordinated structure? Is the alternative (BL:F) an ex post facto human encoding, nlp encoding, a system default, or mapping (shading into the local display selection)? This element may benefit from more specific semantics.
including:
>User-selected = select actual code or system display, including selection of UI structure recorded as expression
>User-implied = select local display
>Derived = translated into a code by nlp (real-time or later) or separate manual process.
>Default = supplied by system because not specified
If two values are really sufficient, it still may be preferable to encode in order to support current clarity and future eventualities. BLs seem like an invitatation to ambiguity.
