      CarePlan.context *has a comment that says "Activities conducted as a result of the care plan may well occur as part of other encounters/episodes" and http://gforge.hl7.org/gf/project/fhir/tracker/?action=TrackerItemEdit&tracker_item_id=11333 is requesting an update to the definition to clarify "Identifies the *original *context in which this particular CarePlan was created" Thus, CarePlan.context *can be used for longitudinal conditions.

      There is no CarePlan.*duration *element. Modify the comment on CarePlan.*period *to be "Any activities scheduled as part of the plan should be constrained to the specified period regardless of whether the activities are planned within a single encounter/episode or across multiple encounters/episodes (e.g. the longitudinal management of a chronic condition)."

      While it is possible that a care plan may be created in the context of an episode or encounter (e.g. in actue care), care plans for chronic conditions are longitudinal in nature and is not epsiodic or encounter based

      Include clarification texts to specific CarePlan.context is intended for use in episodic or encounter -based use cases

      Aslo include explanation on how CarePlan.duration may be used to support longitudinal management of chronic conditions
