The Workflow group is a task force, not a specific working group that could take ownership of the resources. That being said, the CDS Work Group does participate in that task force, and members of that task force are welcome to participate in the CDS Working Group meetings.

We recognize there is a high degree of overlap and will work with the Work Flow task force to ensure that documentation presents the resources from both perspectives appropriately.

      Comment:

Reading the descriptions of PlanDefiniton and ActivityDefinition a very strong relation to the basic concepts of workflow orchestration becomes apparent.

Currently the resources are maintained by the Clinical Decision Support Work Group that has a focus on the decision support aspects.

The suggestion now is to move the resource under the FHIR Infrastructure (namely the Workflow Group) to provide a wider focus for it (e.g. describing workflows without any coded decision support).
