I believe there are cases where more than one interpreter can exist. Believe that sometimes cardiologists and radiologists talk about different aspects of the image for example. (Maybe these are always split into two different studies.) But do double check. The general observation resource allows more than one interpreter. And Echocardiography in DICOM is full of plain ole observations and radiology is beginning to report some.
