      Existing Wording: Typically the system placing the order sets the status to "requested". Thereafter, the order is maintained by the receiver that updates the status as the request is handled.

      Comment:

      "Requested" is not a value in the 4.3.1.944.2 value set.

      Also, I don't think that the DiagnosticRequest.status has the full set of values needed to represent such a request in the context of a care plan. In a care plan it's really "proposed" whereas once the order is actually placed, then it would be "active" or one of the other statuses listed in 4.3.1.944.2.
