      Agreed, we will provide clarifying documentation on the difference between ActivityDefinition and Task, and make sure that it aligns with the outcome of the Workflow "Intent" resource vs Task discussions.

      In particular, an ActivityDefinition describes what should be done in the abstract, where a Task is a representation of the actionable portions of a concrete activity as it moves through a workflow.

      The definition of ActivityDefinition, "A\85 description of some activity to be performed" is very similar to the definition of Task: "describes an activity that can be performed". Realizing that Task is a new resource, I think it's incumbant on you to explain in your definition why ActivityDefinition is different than Task, and probably say when you use one versus the other.
