Existing Wording: CLD list
Code Display
LP173387-4 Administrative note
LP173388-2 Against medical advice note
Comment:
The CLD states the value set is contain a list of LOINC class codes that are all "LOINC Part" codes. LP codes are not a formal part of the LOINC code system and can not be used as exchangable codes. It is permissable (I think) to use them in a CLD when they are used to identify different actual LOINC codes, but not when they are the codes that are to be included in the value set expansion. Given the expecation that this value set have "types", either you need to find a different code system, ask LOINC to change the policy, or remove this attribute. This being an example value set does not mean the value set that breaks LOINC rules can be allowed.
