The inclusion of the Dosage type in MedicationAdministration was previously discussed by the Pharmacy Work Group. Because MedicationAdministration is an event - there are attributes in Dosage that would never been included. Will not agree to add Dosage type. Dosage does have all of the fields in the Dosage type, but not all are appropriate for the medication administration event. Add a note to the "Committee Notes" to this effect and also to the Comments of the specification. "This is a constrained list of attributes from the Dosage type. These are the only attributes needed to describe the dose administered".
