A hospital can maintain a schedule of when the patient is likely to be available/not available due to issues such as identified respite leave, and expect that this could likely be used in residential aged care, disability, mental health and possibly community settings. It assists in being able to book appointments around known events. This could be created as a facade over a patient's google/outlook calendar for example.
