NutritionOrder.status includes options of "planned" (an intention to ensure something occurs without providing an authorization to act) and "requested" (The request has been placed.). These same concepts are used in other FHIR resources with the .intent metadata element. Consistency across all FHIR modeling would be very beneficial.
