Recommended Followup Task profile

      The recommended being sent as a Task seems awkward to me. I see the lab wanting to deliver these (Genetic counseling recommended, etc ...) as their own Observations - they would use an OBX today. Then a provider would review the lab observations, and make the appropriate Tasks to review the observations in the context of the patient.

      I am also not sure how comfortable a Lab will be creating a Task for this. The lab's mindset is likely to be "I am making observations, not telling you how to treat the patient." So, I am a bit concerned about this being an adoption issue.

      I see how this might align with how FHIR defines a Task, but I would still like us to consider delivering this information as an Observation instead.
