      Changing the name doesn't really address the problem. And the problem isn't easily addressable. Will note that "primary" and "main" are aliases. Will also note that the determination of "official" is subjective and that implementation guides may provide guidelines for its use.

      Comment:

      Official is a different concept than most trusted or most relevant. Further, the current definition does not indicate that it need have any official standing. What I would consider my official identifiers come from the government (driver's license, birth cert, passport); my primary identifiers in a healthcare setting are likely assigned by the institution.

      Rename "official" identifier type to "primary" or "main". (all of these definitions have the same problem that most trusted/official/main in one context isn't necessarily that in another.
