      Existing Wording: maiden / A name used prior to changing name because of marriage. ? This term is not gender specific.

      Comment:

      Although there is a disclaimer in the definition, it would be better if we could come up with a gender-neutral term for "name before marriage". What about "birthname"? (I question whether there is a need to track a name specially as a maiden name, as opposed to just an old name; however, I accept that you are probably modelling current behavior.)
