This is really a presentation and standard understandability issue than it is an infrastructure one, so I ma making the comment here as the infrastructure ones are those most commonly involved. The FHIR specification is to be understood by the implementers, but the biggest challenge I see for implementers is understanding there is an inheritance of the base resource type (usually this is DomainResource resource, but it could also be the Resource resource as well). This comment addresses the HTML rendering of the specification. This is clearer for child elements of a resource as it mirrors other healthcare standards documentation. However, for base resources, it is not often clear that the elements from its type (e.g. DomainResource) are included. These show up in the snapshot table of Profiles, but are not clear in the base standard. Please add a snapshot sort of table or some other graphical means to represent these elements)
