      Throughout the specification, we tend to give prominence to example fragments in XML (e.g. in extension examples).

      I'm an XML afficinado. However, given FHIR's mobile focus, I'm wondering whether most of our elementers would be more comfortable with JSON instances? As an additional benefit, the source for the fragments would be easier to read as we wouldn't have XML-escaping all over the place, which makes it easier to mess things up.

      This isn't an urgent change and perhaps is too ambitious for R4, but it's something we should consider. (An alternative is to generate tabs that show all syntaxes for all fragments, but that's even more ambitious.)
