Comment:

We need examples guidance for US implementers who need to adapt/constrain/extend the US-Core profiles for their implementation projects. For instance the VA and DoD will need to create extensions related to military service and service-related conditions. Therefore the VA will need to create profiles derived from these US-Core profiles. Similarly, the CRN-related IGs (e.g. WHT) have to create profiles/StructureDefinition resources to represent their constraints/extensions. The VA could contribute such as examples to help other US implementers.

Summary:

As examples of profiles derived from US-Core profiles and extensions (e.g. veteran-us-core-patient, us-military-service extension).
