Comment:

The sample "search" should address the MU2015 minimal requirements ("Implantable Device List") - however this list would return all the devices - including durable medical equipment, prostheses, telehealth device associated with this patient, etc.

Additionally, this IG should help us use the Device resource to support patient safety how do we search for a recalled device using UDI data (e.g.. a specific lot number, serial numbers) that was implanted in patient (i.e. patient reference is not null).

Summary:

Provide "search" guidance to support MU2015 and medical device-related patient-safety events
