Existing Wording: A client SHOULDe capable of connecting to a server and fetching all of a patient's DocumentReferences for a given time period and document type:

Comment:

There are a number of places where the search criteria for date period is specified such as:

… &period=[date]{&date=[date]}

Yet never is the trailing "

{&date=[date]}" explained.

Often the text will simply reference the search on date text in FHIR, yet that text does not have this trailing "{&date=[date]}

" said or explained.

Please explain this period/date search (and get that clarification into FHIR R5)
