Existing Wording: The selection of questions will help in obtaining responses for a few questions and finish the administration. These small set of questions still provide the necessary confidence and scores required to interpret the data appropriately as if the whole questionnaire was administered.
Proposed Wording: By tailoring the questions to be presented based on the subject's previous responses, a highly-precise measurement can be obtained with fewer question responses in comparison to a fixed-format questionnaire.
Comment:
Just a suggested rewording of this part of the abstract model for IRT-based questionnaires; what exists currently is fine though.
