The purpose of this IG will be clarified and the sections describing different mechanisms for data sharing will be better organized and explained.  The purpose of the IG is to highlight the different types of data sharing approaches that are used by Da Vinci projects, the criteria used to select one over another, and - as necessary - to document any cross-project constraints that apply on a Da Vinci-wide basis to the use of those data exchange approaches.  We will reduce the use of the term "interactions" and use it only where it makes sense to do so based on the type of data exchange mechanism we're describing.

      Comment:

The description of "Interactions" in this framework is lacking a coherent foundation. There seems to be lack of understanding of the communication models that FHIR provides, and the separate levels of describing APIs and describing workflow. There is no indication of what need/use case each of the specified interactions is trying to meet, so it is impossible to recommend an appropriate approach.
