      Comment:

AMA believes quality reporting should include the goal of increasing the transparency of health care data. Physicians, practices, care systems, physician-led organizations, patients and other relevant stakeholders should have access and proactively use meaningful, actionable health care information to achieve care improvements and innovations. Use cases should consider: - transparency objectives and goals (e.g., informing and engaging physicians); - data transparency (e.g., safeguard reporting, so that information is accurate, transparent, and appropriately used); and address challenges to transparency (e.g., mitigating administrative burden and avoiding attribution errors).
