QI-Core builds off of US Core. The Observation resource should add the new US Core Pulse Oximetry and Provenance requirements and also address any additional US Core update changes once the US Core Update is finalized. QI-Core will also need to update the QDM to QI-Core mapping to reference these items once the US Core Update is finalized. QI-Core should also reference / explain how Provenance (part of US Core now) should help to manage some of the data for clinical decision support and eCQMs - and especiallys with the QDM to QI Core mappings.
