      The suggestion is to add new codes to LOINC for genetic tests that are not currently covered by LOINC. That is a good suggestion, but it is up to the genomic labs themselves to submit requests for codes (see https://loinc.org/submissions/new-terms/). It is not something to hold up the publication of this IG.

      In the last paragraph of the Genomics Group section it talks about LOINC. Does it make sense to add new LOINC codes for the genetic tests and panels that do not have LOINC codes?
