      QI-Core builds on US Core which also has 1..1 for Care Team member (http://hl7.org/fhir/us/core/STU3.1/StructureDefinition-us-core-careteam.html). If and when US Core is updated to reflect the cardinality 0..1, then QI-Core can build on the updated US Core for careteam.

      CareTeam.member should have a cardinality of 0..1. It is often the case that a care team specifies a role but does not specify a member for that role or the member that will perform the role may not be known at the time. Please note the cardinality changes proposed for R5 by LHS.
