Existing Wording: Currently, the overwhelming majority of real-time responses to the PA request are PEND. This is, in a large part, due to the need for additional documentation. By using the combination of the DTR IG and this IG to provide the documentation with the PA request, we expect payers to enable real-time response to significantly more PA requests.
