      We investigated this suggestion and noted two factors that make 75621-3 less than optimal as the code for the pathologic stage group observation:

      1) 75621-3 is an ordering code, not an observation code.

      2) 75621-3 represents a valueless grouping of observations, not the stage group observation itself.

      Proposed resolution: Not persuasive.

      The Observation.code is defined with the LOINCCodes Value Set. Since this is primarily focused on TNM Clinical staging, would binding to 75621-3 TNM pathologic staging after surgery panel Cancer also support the intent of this resource?
