      Ballot feedback was that the Terminology Section of the IG requires a major overall, renaming the Value Sets and Code Systems and updating links.  Following is a recommended resolution for the NCPDP Brand Generic Code:

      1) Define a Value Set NCPDPBrandGenericCode

      2)  Title:  NCPDP Brand Generic Code

      3) Description:  NCPDP field # 686 (Brand Generic Code)

      4) Value Set:       http://hl7.org/fhir/us/ValueSet/ncpdp-brandgenericcode

      5) Code System URI (new):  http://www.ncpdp.org/brand-generic-code.  Submit a request to define an OID named ncpdp-BrandGenericCode-cs

      6) Code System Definition: National Council for Prescription Drug Programs, (NCPDP) field # 686, BrandGenericCode. NCPDP codes are available by subscription at https://www.ncpdp.org/members/pdf/versiond.editorial.pdf.
