HL7 owns the copyright to FHIR Shorthand and the FHIR Shorthand logo trademark.

TM is an unregistered indication to draw special attention to as original, unique, or important and informing potential infringers that the item should not be used without permission. Accordingly the TM is a lightweight way for HL7 to claim the FHIR Shorthand logo and assert exclusiveness.

The logo suggests it trademarked – who owns the trademark? If not HL7, we should check whether inclusion of an non-HL7 trademark in an HL7 specification is allowed.
