      Will define conceptual model in the paper as the following: "A conceptual data model establishes the business use-case requirements for the entities, their attributes, and their relationships but it does not define the structure of the data elements or make concrete the relationships between them." 

      Also will change all references from "conceptual model" to "conceptual data model."

      What do you mean by "conceptual model"? Do you mean the data model or something else? The same goes for the subsequent sentence: "Enabling data exchange between systems requires a common model." Here you probably also mean "common data model"?
