MedicationStatement is not a US Core profiled resource, but the Medication profile mentions it in the introductory description:
"When referencing a medication, the MedicationStatement and MedicationRequest resources can either use a code or refer to a Medication resource."
...and
"Queries on Medication resource are expected to be within the context of a MedicationStatement or a MedicationRequest resource query. The following are example usage scenarios for the US Core Medication profile:"
While not necessarily incorrect, it is misleading to mention a non-US Core resource because expectations for using that resource is not defined in US Core. And MedicationStatement is not the only other resource that can refer to Medication resources, as described in the US Core Medication Guidance: https://build.fhir.org/ig/HL7/US-Core-R4/all-meds.html#pharmacy-fhir-resources
To be consistent, either remove MedicationStatement from the description of this profile, or also mention MedicationDispense and MedicationAdministration.
