Harmonize CPCDS with US Core

      To align with US Core required data elements, the following CPCDS data elements will be defined and mapped to the appropriate FHIR data element in the following US Core Profiles:  Organization, Practioner and Patient.  

      • Practioner Name for each of the careTeam roles and the billing provider
      • Organization.active will have a boolean value of 'active'
      • Payer Name

      The US Core PractionerRole profile requires references to Practioner and Organization  The EOB use of PractionerRole is to identify the specialty of the performing provider on the Professional and Non-Clinician profile.  The US Core requirement of Organization does not apply in this situation. CARIN BB will use the base R4 profile.   __

      Harmonize the CPCDS data dictionary and mapping worksheet with US Core required  data elements for the US Core profiles used by the implementation guide.  The resources are:  PractionerRole, Practioner, Organization, Location and Patient.  Reference the attached gap analysis.
