      If the patient’s request is accepted, is there a process to inform others of this amendment to PHI, per HIPAA regs (45 CFR 164.526(c)(3))?

      Also, this raises questions again about scope: I thought the scope of this IG was limited to exchanges between payers and providers, not patients.
