HIPAA requires the secure transmission of any PHI, not just “sensitive” data. Suggest deleting the language after the hyphen.
Existing Wording:
• The channel used to convey the subscription response must be a secure one - at least if the data being transported is sensitive or could be problematic if seen or manipulated by an intermediary en route.
