Does this guide cover the ability to update the specific details of the ordered service itself (quantity, specific product, etc.) vs. just update the original request with additional supporting documentation? If so, this could be more clearly indicated. The inclusion of partial fulfillment in out of scope suggests that a change in service between what was originally ordered vs. what was ultimately delivered to the patient is NOT covered by the guide. If the rendering provider recommends a change in the order based on payer coverage or available stock, is that scenario in scope? I would recommend more specificity around if (1) the rendering provider can update the order beyond just its status and (2) if the ordering provider can update service details (such as quantity or exact DME product) based on info from the rendering provider
Existing Wording:
Out of Scope 5. Partial fulfillment: status is included, but the details (which may require a conversation between the ordering and rendering provider) are out of scope.
