      Replace:

A cumulative measure (e.g., tests performed). Cumulative measures are a combination of count and point-in-time measurements. These represent a count of the current quantity (e.g., tests performed) over the total performed over “all time” (e.g., cumulative total tests performed). When these are aggregated over multiple time periods, the aggregate of the cumulative total (the denominator) is the most recent value, but the aggregate of the current quantity (the numerator) is summed.

      With:

Cumulative counts or measures are summations of measures over several (usually contingious) periods of time.

I have a concern about a cumulative measure being the sum of point-in-time measures. Point in time is just that, a point, and not a period of time. Cumulative counts or measures are summations of measures over several (usually contingious) periods of time, not points in time.
