      That's correct - if you do the hover over on the element it says "The date on which the observation was made". The hover over for the long description on that field seems to be missed by many people unfortunately. Will update the short description to say the same and make it more clear.

      The profile definition includes "The effectiveTime captures the observation date." but that's not particularly helpful. Is that the time the patient noticed it was the first day of her menstrual period or the date she reported that to the provider for recording in the EHR. I'm assuming the later. Please clarify the meaning.
