Medical History Event Date Type (MHEVDTYP) is linked to Condition.onset. Condition.onset in FHIR is the “Estimated or actual date or date-time the condition began, in the opinion of the clinician.”, which is more properly aligned with MHSTDTC. MHEVDTYP is intended to capture an aspect of an event (e.g. RELAPSE or DIAGNOSIS), not an actual date.
