      CDISC chose only to map at the resource element level, a conscious decision was made to not map at the data type level but to allow an implementer to make that call.  Because of the you will often see multiple CDISC variables mapped to the same FHIR element.

      Additionally the CMCLAS CMCLASCD can be inferred from the medication in the CMTRT

      CMCLAS and CMCLASCD is mapped identically in consideration of the FHIR mappings. It is noteworthy that the code is coding that relates to CMCLASCD. This concept may not be present in a FHIR resource and indicating the identical mapping for CMCLAS and CMCLASCD is not to clearest.
