Add linkage to the CDMH project and its published material as related efforts that have capabilities that will be used by MedMorph. In the Research portion of the IG identify specifically which capabilities from CDMH will be used by MedMorph.

Also review the CDC Modernization initiative to see if there is any capabilities that can be leveraged for MedMorph. The following is the link to the information:

It is suggested that an enhanced literature review / environmental scan on existing approaches should be carried out to recognize, leverage and build upon for this MedMorph project.
There are existing approaches that aim to harmonize various standards that support the same goals of enabling EHR Data available for Research and Public Healh, such as the FDA-led Common Data Model Harmonization (CDMH) project, whose report can be found at HHS/ASPE PCORTF website.

      Existing Wording:

Examples such as FHIR, the ONC 2015 Edition Common Clinical Data Set (CCDS), 2015 Edition Cures Update - United States Core Data for Interoperability (USCDI) Version 1, February 2020 and standardized application programming interfaces (API) for patient services have created a health IT environment that is ripe for developing standards-based scalable and extensible solutions to overcome interoperability challenges.
