When a simple type is profiled to define extensions, it presently displays the "value" property - even though nothing about the "value" property has changed. This adds to the volume of the documentation, provides no added value and creates confusion about why the data type definition is being exposed for this one element but not for all the other elements that also have that type (but happen to have no extensions defined).
