Include into the scope and usage section of RelatedPerson an example of the usage of a Guide Dog, and indicate that a new standard extension could be used to futher classify if required (using example valuesets from patient-animal).

Include into the scope and usage section of Practitioner - Service animal (e.g. Ward assigned dog capable of detecting cancer in patients - may also use standard extension ...)

On both the Practitioner and RelatedPerson include in the Boundaries and relationships section:

The distinction between a Practitioner and a RelatedPerson, would be base on whether the person/animal operates on behalf of the care delivery organization over multiple patients (Practitioner) or, where the person/animal is not associated with the organization, and instead is allocated tasks specifically for the RelatedPerson's patient (RelatedPerson).

The standard extension will only include species at this point (if others require breed in the future, they will need to advise).

This is not part of core, but would be good to note in the usage notes or something that in some cases a service animal might perform either role (depending on whether they're under the responsibility of the patient or a care delivery organization). Might also be good to define a standard extension of "species".
