After carefully reviewing the MedicationAdministration Immunization Profile and comparing to the Immunization resource, I feel that there no sginificanct advantage to having a profile on MedicationAdministration. This is primarily due to the fact that about half of the Immunization elements require the use of extensions which IMO adds increased complexity to implementations when compared to a core resource which is fully supported by the specifications schema and schematrons "out of the box" Additionally the Resource has now undergone two rounds of DSTU balloting and so has had opportunity to be implemented and intalled in user community.
