      When Contract is used for a patient specific consent, the Contract.subject would be pointing to a Patient resource, so it is the subject of the contract/consent. A search on Contract.subject for a given patient would return all the contracts where that patient is the subject. So I think this answer clarifies without the need to change. This at best will be clarified with a complete IG on how to use Contract for Consent.

      Comment:

      Is "subject" supposed to identify the data covered by the consent? Could we use SearchParameters pehraps an improvemenet? This would allow us to describe the criteria for matching resources.
