      Because CPD1 does not yet have the regulatory weight behind it that C-CDA does, we're not comfortable making support for CPD1 mandatory in order to conform with SDC. ?Instead: we already have the following text at the end of the IG: "Mapping to CCDA is one of many options, not the only one."

      Will append to this: "Examples of other specifications where pre-population might be useful in the near term include [CPD1], [PRPH], etc."
