Clarification
Existing Wording: The body position during the observation :
The position of the body when the observation was done,
e.g., standing, sitting. To be used only when the body
position in not precoordinated in the observation code.

Qualitative change or trend in the measurement :
The qualitative change in the value relative to the previous
measurement. Usually only recorded if the change is
clinically significant.
Comment:
body position and other specialized things (like cuff size for BP) are usually reported as related observations when they are not pre-coordinated. Requiring these as independent fields in the record will create havoc with reporting in a flow sheet. Either the cell will get very crowded, or the application will have to create a pseudo variable for each body position
