Proposed resolution waiting on Clem's input (ClemMcDonald@mail.nih.gov)

      1) Update the ClinicalImpression boundaries to clarify differences between ClinicalImpression and Condition.

ClinicalImpression is the equivalent of the "A" in Weed SOAP. It is the outcome of the clinical assessment process. The ClinicalImpression may lead to a statement of a Condition about a patient.

      2) Rename ClinicalImpression.action to supportingInfo 0..*

      Comment:

This resource is poorly thought out, overlaps and perplexed with content of other resources and should be removed or made an extension

A clinical impression as a coded entity is the same as a condition

or it is the same as assessment in the Weed SOAP problem oriented assessment

Some of the attributes of the impression are parallel or the same as parts of the condition,

The impression is also entangled with "conclusion in the clinical note" which is also an impression and with observations that are impressions (usually summative) to which LOINC has dedicated 910 terms

This will forever be a confusant - it is poorly specified

Some of the attributes - could be moved to Condition- (problem) and or some of the attributes in Condition renamed to make it obvious how to right a SOAP note (which is always begun with a problem

There is no way that providers will want to
