      Device is the administative resource for the physical device.

      Devicemetric contains the settings information including stuff like what is being measured.

      this doesn't really say much. SO not very useful

      For the record. LOINC codes exist for all of the variables in IEEE 11073. some of which are laboratory tests and some of which are vitals. And some are unique to 111073- and these are mostly items related to anesthesia delivery. LOINC is holding the mapping dling them back till we get an MOU with IEEE. Hopefully will have progress with that at the HL7 May meeting. Once these are released from the machine they should not function much different than any other observation, except for those that are machine settings.
