      Dec 04 2014: Oxygen saturation 95% (normal)

      Comment:

      not how it would ever be reported.

      would always be reported as structured data- too easy not to.

      US Meaningful use specifies

      ''Oxygen saturation in arterial blood

      by pulse oximetry'' with LOINC® code

      59408-5;

      O2 saturation can be obtained from an arterial blood stick but that mostly it is done via pulse oximetry.

      And the two should be distinguished because the one done on arterial stick can be more precise
