DSTU1 [deprecated]
Existing Wording: Provenance.entity.role
Definition How the entity was used during the activity.
Control 1..1
Binding ProvenanceEntityRole: Required: http://hl7.org/fhir/provenance-entity-role (How an entity was used in an activity)
Type code
Proposed Wording: Should the type be "Coding" and not "code"?
Comment:
It is not clear why Coding is used for the ProvenanceAgentRole, ProvenanceAgentType, ProvenanceEntityType and not the ProvenanceEntityRole. At minimum an explanation clarifying the more restrictive data type would be helpful. Summary: the type "code" seems inconsistent and not clear based on how the type "Coding" has been applied to other similar attributes in the same entity. I am more than willing to change to Affirmative vote if I understood the difference.
