Non-substantive
Some plans only cover a 30 day retail supply, followed by mail-order only (or require PA after a period of time). Including this information is helpful for patients to make more educated decisions. It is more complicated information to understand, but would definitely help patients be more informed and make better decisions.
Instead of removing items from the standard, it would be better to leave it to the application to decide whether and how they want to display the information.
Existing Wording:
Response > Alternative medication > Maximums and limitaations is in NCPDP, but not in this FHIR IG.
Proposed Wording:
Include Maximum and limitations in the Response.
